Growing up in Mexico City, I was exposed to to several cultures that influenced my life and ideology, especially American movies and Japanese cartoons. This created in me a love for film and photography, and a weakness for literature and fine art.

I began my career on 1996 as a freelance commercial photographer in my native city, where I worked for advertising and model agencies. Two years later, my career took me to Cancun, Mexico, where soon after I met fellow professional photographer, Heidi Lee, the woman who would become my wife and business partner.

In 2005, I moved to The United States and joined my beloved bride in her pursuit for excellence in wedding photography. Four years later, and with hundreds of photo-shoots of experience in The United States and Mexico, I began a new venture with Style and Action Photo in an attempt to capture the essence and style of my clients, and to take my portraiture to a new level.

My fascination for fine art and film forced me to expand my horizon, and in 2008, already in my thirties, I enrolled in the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where I studied film, creative writing and studio art, and graduated Cum Laude.

Since then, I have written and directed several short films, and have drawn many portraits, life stills and abstract compositions. In 2019, I took on acrylic painting and soon after on body painting, and my oeuvre is growing. I live in Appleton, Wisconsin with my lovely wife, Heidi and our two cats Chewy and Raffa.
